Founded in 1991 within Paine Webber, Siguler Guff became an independent firm in 1995. Its clients include corporate and public employee benefit plans, endowments, foundations, government agencies, financial institutions, family offices and high net worth individuals.

Siguler Guff manages and co-manages several direct investment private equity funds and fund-of-funds, each targeted at carefully defined areas of market inefficiency.
