Timothy Kazbek is an Associate at Siguler Guff and is primarily involved in investment analysis, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring across the Firm’s credit platform, including special situations, distressed, and opportunistic credit strategies. In his role, Mr. Kazbek is responsible for transaction underwriting, execution, and ongoing investment oversight across the platform.

Prior to joining Siguler Guff, Mr. Kazbek was a Portfolio Manager on the Structured Credit team at BlackRock in New York. In this role, he managed assets for insurance balance sheets across a range of private structured credit sub-sectors, including consumer and esoteric asset-backed securities, real estate-backed securities, fund finance, and other forms of structured debt. He was also involved in portfolio construction, due diligence and underwriting, monitoring existing investments, and supporting business development initiatives.
